Our Team
Nick Sheather
Nick Sheather, Principal Adviser at Supersolve Financial Services, is known for his approachable, collaborative style and deep commitment to client success. Drawing on extensive experience, he combines clear communication with technical expertise to simplify complex financial decisions. Nick takes the time to understand each client’s goals and values, building tailored strategies that not only protect and grow wealth but also empower clients to feel confident and in control of their financial future.
Nick’s financial planning style blends technical competence with empathy. He ensures clients understand the “why” behind each recommendation, demystifying jargon and creating a collaborative plan rather than a prescriptive one. This is reinforced by a genuine curiosity about clients’ broader goals; from retirement aspirations to intergenerational wealth transfer, so that advice aligns with life priorities.
Nick is recognised as a Certified Financial Planner, SMSF Specialist and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. Nick has been advising clients in a financial planning capacity for the past 24 years and prior to that Nick’s background extended to Investment Banking roles both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Beyond his professional role, Nick invests time and energy into community initiatives. For more than 10 years, Nick has had a voluntary role as soccer coach for all of his (now adult) children at various stages. Nick’s current role at their home club is coaching both of his sons in the Men’s Premier League squad.
Nick’s professional qualifications include:
Bachelor of Economics (Macquarie University)
Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning
Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
SMSF Specialist qualifications.
Nick is also a Justice of the Peace.
Melissa Sheather
Melissa has been a Director of Supersolove Financial Services since 2005. With a background as a Financial Planner, she now focuses on supporting Nick Sheather through administrative management, client liaison, and IT oversight. Melissa’s approachable and personable nature makes her highly valued by their clients.
Together with Nick, she leads a busy family life with their three adult children. Beyond her professional role, Melissa is a founding member of Uplift Northern Beaches, a local charity, where she served as President for four years and currently serves as Treasurer, reflecting her strong commitment to giving back to the community.
Melissa’s professional qualifications include;
Bachelor of Arts in Leisure Studies (UTS)
Diploma of Financial Planning (previously)
Diploma in Travel and Tourism (TAFE NSW)
